The tip form is a Google Form. It collects your name, email, phone, whether we may text you, and your note, and sends them to the LaTLmes desk through Google Forms. We use it to reply and to check the story. We do not sell it. Ask the desk to delete it.

The newsletter form is Mailchimp. It collects your email and an optional first name, and it asks you to confirm by email before you are added (double opt-in). We use that list only to send the brief. You can unsubscribe in any edition. We do not sell it.

This site uses Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-JB4P3D9PYS, to count visits and to record clicks on tips, the newsletter, and outbound desk links. Google receives that traffic data under its own terms.

The signup popup stores one key in your browser, fs_seen_v1, so it does not show again on this device. It does not store your email there. Clearing site data removes the key.

We do not sell personal information. Ask the desk to delete a tip or a newsletter address.
